Isaiah 25:1 Thou Hast Done Wonderful Things

Isaiah 25:1 (KJV) O LORD, thou art my God; I will exalt thee, I will praise thy name; for thou hast done wonderful things; thy counsels of old are faithfulness and truth.

The prophet Isaiah extols the Name of the LORD, praise His Name for all the wonderful things that he has experienced in His Name. He has been helped and strengthened by the LORD.

He particularly highlights the counsels of God that provided him with wisdom on life’s pathways. He can attest to the faithfulness of God and the truthfulness of God. He relies on Him wholly and surely. He experienced His faithfulness in all aspects of life and he is grateful.

Therefore, he affirms and testifies, “O LORD, thou art my God; I will exalt thee, I will praise they name; for thou hast done wonderful things; thy counsels of gold are faithfulness and truth.” Amen.
