Lamentation 3:26 Hope and Quietly Wait for the Salvation of the LORD

Lamentations 3:26 (KJV) It is good that a man should both hope and quietly wait for the salvation of the LORD.

Trusting the LORD and thus committing our cares to Him is good in His sight. There is therefore rest for the people of God who both hope and quietly wait for the salvation of the LORD.

With the knowledge that our LORD hears our prayers and we may trust Him to work out all things well for His glory. Having prayed, given our supplications to the LORD, the peace of God thus guards and calms our hearts.

Hoping in the LORD is a sure hope. He is able! To quietly wait for Him is the cultivated heart of faith that is pleasing in the sight of God. May the LORD strengthen our hearts to trust in Him. Amen.
