Isaiah 54:17 This is the Heritage of the Servants of the LORD

Isaiah 54:17 (KJV) No weapon that is formed against thee shall prosper; and every tongue that shall rise against thee in judgment thou shalt condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the LORD, and their righteousness is of me, saith the LORD.

Protected by the LORD, His servants are kept safe from every devices of the evil one to thwart the purposes of God by disappointing His servants. This often comes by uncomely words against the servants of the LORD. The LORD does condemn unruliness.

It is of the LORD’s prerogative that His servants be kept righteous, being covered by the righteousness of God – having on the breastplate of righteousness (Ephesians 6:14b).

Weapons formed against the servants of the LORD shall not prosper. The LORD Himself shall be a shield for them, saith the LORD. Amen.
