Isaiah 61:11 Righteousness and Praise to Spring Forth

Isaiah 61:11 (KJV) For as the earth bringeth forth her bud, and as the garden causeth the things that are sown in it to spring forth; so the Lord GOD will cause righteousness and praise to spring forth before all the nations.

As in the blossoming of a garden, so the blessing of God’s righteousness and praise upon the nations. This comes when the gospel is sounded forth and the Spirit of God works a mighty work of subduing evil and illuminating man’s hearts to turn to God.

When sin is dealt with, and righteousness prevail, there is true rejoicing and there is true praise. All other semblance of peace is not true peace without the Lord GOD intervening, convicting and converting.

May His Word go forth to accomplish His purpose for the conversion of souls and the edification of the saints as a blossoming garden from budding to flowering. Amen.
