Psalm 31:24 Be of Good Courage

Psalm 31:24 (KJV) Be of good courage, and he shall strengthen your heart, all ye that hope in the LORD.

The psalmist affirms the LORD’S unfailing care for His people and extols the people of God to hope in Him. Be courageous to trust Him is the call of the hour.

In every trial, the LORD is with His people as they abide in Him, rightly understood as abiding in Christ – John 16:33 (KJV) These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world.

This means to keep the commandments of God and commit every care into the LORD’S hand. Amen.
