Romans 5:1-2 Being Justified By Faith
Romans 5:1-2 (KJV) Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ: By whom also we have access by faith into this grace wherein we stand, and rejoice in hope of the glory of God.
The Apostle Paul said in the sequel leading to our text – Romans 4:24-25 (KJV) But for us also, to whom it shall be imputed, if we believe on him that raised up Jesus our Lord from the dead; Who was delivered for our offences, and was raised again for our justification.
Faith in the finished work of Christ justifies the sinner. Brings peace with God because the wrath of God against us for sin has been fully paid by Christ. By faith, we are saved and received the unmerited favour of God to be called the sons of God, and therefore rejoice awaiting the day of our transformation when we see Christ face to face at His return.
May the hearts of His people rejoice exceedingly for the great salvation by which Christ has wrought and bring us to fellowship with the Godhead, Father, Son and Holy Spirit. Amen.
