Psalm 119:18 (KJV) Open thou mine eyes, that I may behold wondrous things out of thy law.

The prayer of the psalmist, is the prayer a seeking heart, for the LORD to help him understand the Word of God. To help him see the marvels of His Word. It is God’s law that will impart wisdom to help him in the vicissitudes of life.

Wisdom in times of testing and wisdom in times of temptation imparted from God’s Word. Indeed, the psalmist cried often in the midst of affliction, seeking the LORD for succor and comfort.

It is the spirit of God that enlightens our heart and open our understanding to the ways of God. May the LORD daily grant His people the grace to behold wondrous things of His law. Amen.
