Psalm 119:50 Comfort In Affliction

Psalm 119:50 (KJV) This is my comfort in my affliction: for thy word hath quickened me.

It was the Word of God that sustained the psalmist in his affliction. He was able to find comfort as he meditate upon the promises and assurances and wisdom of God’s Word.

The Word of God quickened him, gave spiritual vitality to him in an ailing moment. He is grateful and therefore testify that all who is acquainted with his testimony tooo may find comfort in their moment of need.

Truly, in the LORD is our strengthened renewed in every trial for His glory. Amen.
