Psalm 46:10-11 Be Still, and Know that I am God
Psalm 46:10-11 (KJV) Be still, and know that I am God: I will be exalted among the heathen, I will be exalted in the earth. The LORD of hosts is with us; the God of Jacob is our refuge. Selah.
The people of God living in a hostile world that is often turbulent to the cause of Christ and His church is beckoned to trust in the LORD’s care and protection. There is a calm, quiet retreat with the LORD amidst the storms.
Jesus said to His disciples by abiding in Him there is strength and He imparts to overcome the world and the assurance of His peace John 16:33 (KJV) These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world.
Let His people commit their cares to Him through fervent prayers – Philippians 4:6-7 (KJV) Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God. And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus. Amen.
