Psalm 119:114 Thou Art My Hiding Place

Psalm 119:114 (KJV) Thou art my hiding place and my shield: I hope in thy word.

In the LORD, the psalmist found a place of refuge, a hiding place from the storms of life. And in the LORD, he found protection, He was a shield against the darts and arrows of the enemy.

The Word of God was his mainstay revealing to him who the LORD is and enabling him to hope in Him. This was great consolation and comfort. By the Word, he was guided and gifted with wisdom for life.

There is safety and security in the LORD. Let His people resort and hope in Him. always. Amen.
