John 17:21 Unity of Witness

John 17:21 (KJV) That they all may be one; as thou, Father, art in me, and I in thee, that they also may be one in us: that the world may believe that thou hast sent me.

Our Lord has declared the glorious unity in the Godhead, and He has also declared the glorious unity between the Godhead and the disciples of Christ, unified to testify the testimony of Christ, sent of the Father.

The witness that is sealed by the Holy Spirit shall go forth with the co-labouring of His disciples for the conversion of sinners and the edification of the saints to the glory of God – John 17:22 (KJV) And the glory which thou gavest me I have given them; that they may be one, even as we are one:

A supernatural and glorious work is the conversion of sinners and the building of the faith of the saints to the glory of God. The work of the Godhead enabling the redemption of sinful may go forth from strength to strength. Amen.
