Hebrews 7:25, 28 The Son Consecrated Forevermore
Hebrews 7:25, 28 (KJV) Wherefore he is able also to save them to the uttermost that come unto God by him, seeing he ever liveth to make intercession for them. … 28 For the law maketh men high priests which have infirmity; but the word of the oath, which was since the law, maketh the Son, who is consecrated for evermore.
Christ, the Son of God, is the Mediator between God and man. All who come to trust in Christ’s atoning work by faith, renouncing their sins, shall be saved.
And only does Christ secure our souls by His finished work on the cross but He is ascended to heaven seated at the right hand of the Father, to make intercession for His people so that none shall be lost.
Because Christ, the Son of God is consecrated forevermore to intercede, that is, to plead the cause of His people, we may rejoice and rest in Christ. Amen.
