Hebrews 11:39 Obtained a Good Report Through Faith

Hebrews 11:39 (KJV) And these all, having obtained a good report through faith, received not the promise:

The life of faith in God is fully trusting, need not to see to believe and need not to receive but is content to rest in the Lord.

Well explained in Hebrews 11:13 (KJV) These all died in faith, not having received the promises, but having seen them afar off, and were persuaded of them, and embraced them, and confessed that they were strangers and pilgrims on the earth.

In their lifetime, they did not see the accomplishment of the promises of God but was willing not to see but to behold by faith. That is true faith. That is a good life. May it be our testimony too. Amen.
