Luke 15:6 Rejoice With Me

Luke 15:6 (KJV) And when he cometh — home, he calleth his friends and neighbors, saying unto them, Rejoice with me; for I have found my lost sheep.

The shepherd found his lost sheep and asked his friends and neighbours to rejoice with him. It was a happy occasion because his search was successful.

Our Lord Jesus came on the mission to seek that which was lost. He came to save the souls of men from eternal destruction. This parable helps us to see the heart of our Lord in compassion went the full length to save sinners. He was crucified and died to save lost sinners.

Here is a picture of the rejoicing that our Lord would like us to know when He saved us. And the joy of being a co-labourer with Christ in the gospel work when the Lord saves a soul, a lost sheep. Amen.
