Romans 1:7 Called to Be Saints
Romans 1:7 (KJV) To all that be in Rome, beloved of God, called to be saints: Grace to you and peace from God our Father, and the Lord Jesus Christ.
The Apostle Paul greeted the believers in Rome by the term “saints” which literally means “holy ones”. Those who by grace were saved when the gospel was preached there in Rome and experienced God’s peace, being justified by faith, because their sins were forgiven through Christ and were reconciled to God.
Indeed, believers are beloved of God. God’s everlasting love bestowed abundantly to save and to succor and secure them both on earth till they are gloriously conducted to heaven.
And given the instruction of God’s Word through His servants, to establish them in the faith. Blessed indeed of God. Amen.
