1 John 1:3 Fellowship with God

1 John 1:3 (KJV) That which we have seen and heard declare we unto you, that ye also may have fellowship with us: and truly our fellowship is with the Father, and with his Son Jesus Christ.

The Apostle John points us to identify the living and true God to the Father and His Son Jesus Christ. This revelation is the most significant any man can receive for it is the way by which be can be connected to find eternal life.

This was how the Apostle John showed us 1 John 1:2 (KJV) (For the life was manifested, and we have seen it, and bear witness, and shew unto you that eternal life, which was with the Father, and was manifested unto us;)

Eternal life is contrasted with eternal death and this is manifested unto us in receiving the Son of God, Jesus Christ, sent by the Father through whom we find eternal life. With eternal life comes fullness of joy. Amen.
