Romans 14:11 Every Tongue Shall Confess to God

Romans 14:11 (KJV) For it is written, As I live, saith the Lord, every knee shall bow to me, and every tongue shall confess to God.

The acknowledgement of Christ as the Source of life and salvation is ultimately the confession of every man whatever language he or she may commune. That confession which is made when one is living and acknowledging Christ is Saviour will secure his eternal comfort whilst the confession after death will not secure that soul eternal comfort but eternal condemnation.

It is better to bow the knee to Christ today, to confess that He is Lord and Saviour than to meet Him as Judge at His return. A most grim prospect to die without confessing Christ as Lord.

And therefore, it is the blessing of the people of God to be vessels bringing the good news of Christ to the living for confession will save them from the wrath to come. Amen.
