Hebrews 10:25 Not Forsaking the Assembling of Ourselves Together

Hebrews 10:25 (KJV) Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another: and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching.

The church is exhorted to be gathered together in worship and in the study of God’s Word even more fervently as the day of Christ return draws nearer.

The church’s witness is in the assembly of the saints in worship and in the provoking one another to love and to good works. In so doing we draw near to God and His presence sanctify us.

The church’s strength in the gathering, just as it is, when Christ will soon gather His church to glory. This is our longing, our blessed hope! Amen.
