Proverbs 3:5-6 Trust In the LORD With All Thine Heart
Proverbs 3:5-6 (KJV) Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.
This is the recipe to walk in the centre of God’s will that Solomon urges for his son – Proverbs 3:1-4 (KJV) My son, forget not my law; but let thine heart keep my commandments: For length of days, and long life, and peace, shall they add to thee. Let not mercy and truth forsake thee: bind them about thy neck; write them upon the table of thine heart: So shalt thou find favour and good understanding in the sight of God and man.
Obedience to God’s Word involves a wholehearted consecration and giving over to carry out His divine instructions. This is to acknowledge God in a very practical sense.
Faith in the LORD and obedience to His Word is key to divine guidance and favour with God and man. Amen.
