Psalm 25:20 O Keep My Soul
Psalm 25:20 (KJV) O keep my soul, and deliver me: let me not be ashamed; for I put my trust in thee.
The psalmist pleads with the LORD to keep his heart in tune with the will of God. He, in fact, has walked with the LORD. He was not presumptuous but would ask the LORD to strengthen him so that he remains and abide with Him.
He was resolved to follow the LORD and His ways according to Scripture. His prayer was that he wants to follow the LORD. Rather that he will not stray but keep himself on the LORD.
He asked the LORD to search his heart and integrity and uprightness walk with Him – Psalm 25:21 (KJV) Let integrity and uprightness preserve me; for I wait on thee.
He keeps himself still before the LORD and will move as He directs. Amen.
