Psalm 5:7 I Will Come Unto Thy House

Psalm 5:7 (KJV) But as for me, I will come into thy house in the multitude of thy mercy: and in thy fear will I worship toward thy holy temple.

In worship, the psalmist acknowledged that it is there a multitude of the LORD’s mercy is dispensed. His mercy refers to His goodness and kindness. As the psalmist sought the LORD by coming to the LORD’s house, there he is helped.

The state of the psalmist’s heart was one of humility, a humbleness of heart, acknowledge the Almighty God. In the fear of the LORD, he entered the house of the LORD.

There in the LORD’s house, he finds the LORD’s peace surrounding and undergirding his heart for life’s battles. Amen.
