Lord’s Day, Vol. 12. No. 27

(1) Beginning “The 7am Service”

Thank God for gathering the church for “The 7am Service” started on 1 July 2024.  

Services were held on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday. It’s the Lord’s appointment for His people to meet with Him in worship. It is an answer to prayer. It allows members and friends to gather for prayer and the quiet meditation of the Word of God. This is an evangelistic service too. Thank God for new friends who came for the services.

God willing, services will be held in July, August, September, October and November 2024. There will be a recess in December 2024.

The discipline of having a good night’s rest the day before and the preparation to go for service will require some adjustments. Thank God for His grace in enabling His people to come in person or join online. On average, 40 attended both in person and online.

I pray that you will make this appointment with the Lord to attend the 7am Service if you have missed the inaugural first week of meetings.

There is a daily “live” webcast of “The 7am Service” to facilitate our homebound members and friends.

Indeed, it was a foretaste of heaven as we meet in the quiet of God’s House to behold His glory. As we see the day of Christ approaching, let His people gather to watch and pray!

(2) Old Paths Conference 2024

God willing, we shall gather for this year’s “Old Paths Conference” from 11 to 13 December. There shall be two full days of meetings from 930am to 930pm on 11 and 12 December. This year’s theme is on the “Westminster Confession of Faith”, it’s history and relevance for the church today. Do plan your leave to meet with the Lord in the study of His Word.
