Proverbs 28:13 Confess and Forsake

Proverbs 28:13 (KJV) He that covereth his sins shall not prosper: but whoso confesseth and forsaketh them shall have mercy.

He that covereth his sins shall not prosper. Unconfessed sin is a growing cancer of the soul. Such a one shall bear the brunt of fatally harming his own soul.

There is a way out. Whoso confesseth and forseketh them shall have mercy. Confession comes when one realizes his sins and acknowledge them and forsakes them. Such a one shall be healed and restored to followship with the LORD.

When one confesses and forsakes his sins, the LORD is merciful to forgive and heal. There is rejoicing, such a soul then prospers. Amen.
