Hebrews 10:22 Let Us Draw Near With a True Heart in Full Assurance of Faith

Hebrews 10:22 (KJV) Let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled from an evil conscience, and our bodies washed with pure water.

As we come to God in prayer, we come to the Father in heaven through the merits of the Son, Jesus Christ. We are to do so with full assurance of faith, trusting that our prayers will be heard, our sins confessed are forgiven, and God’s peace abiding.

The Word of God is God’s means by which we realize where we have gone wrong and how to correct when we deviate from the ways of God. In this way, evil is put away from our hearts and we are washed every whit clean walking in the ways of God.

Let us therefore pray unceasing, always drawing near in full assurance of faith. Our prayers indeed will be answered in the will of God. Amen.
