Psalm 33:1-5 The Earth Is Full of the Goodness of the LORD

Psalm 33:1-5 (KJV) Rejoice in the LORD, O ye righteous: for praise is comely for the upright. Praise the LORD with harp: sing unto him with the psaltery and an instrument of ten strings. Sing unto him a new song; play skilfully with a loud noise. For the word of the LORD is right; and all his works are done in truth. He loveth righteousness and judgment: the earth is full of the goodness of the LORD.

The psalmist rejoices in the LORD. He accorded praise to the LORD with instruments of praise. He composes a new sing to testify of Him with an accompanying music.

He is moved to write because of his experience to behold the LORD’s word that accomplishes His works. He saw the LORD in action and he marveled. The LORD was righteous and just in all His dealings. He beheld the LORD righteous ways.

He could trace and attested to the goodness of the LORD. Indeed, the sun is not a distance nearer or the earth would be scourged and not a distance further that it would freeze. Enjoying the rain that cool the ground, let us like the psalmist give praise to the LORD. Amen.
