Mark 6:30 Gathered Together Unto Jesus

Mark 6:30 (KJV) And the apostles gathered themselves together unto Jesus, and told him all things, both what they had done, and what they had taught.

Our Lord sent forth His apostles to preach and teach the word, to evangelize the lost. They returned and shared with their Master what they had done and what they had taught. It must have been very exciting to see the power of God manifested to effect the Word preached and taught in the hearts of the people.

And our Lord said to them beckoned them to a time of rest and physical refreshing from their work – Mark 6:31 (KJV) And he said unto them, Come ye yourselves apart into a desert place, and rest a while: for there were many coming and going, and they had no leisure so much as to eat.

The Lord showed His apostles how the work of fulfilling the Gospel mandate be done, with season of labour and season of rest – Mark 6:32 (KJV) And they departed into a desert place by ship privately. Amen.
