1 John 4:7 (KJV) Beloved, let us love one another: for love is of God; and every one that loveth is born of God, and knoweth God.

The distinguishing trait of one born of God is that he or she is able to love others with God’s love. This is the Holy Spirit’s fruit borne in the life of the believer.

For the fruit of the Spirit is love, a love that is shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Ghost. It is a gift from heaven. It enables one to love the morality, life, name, possession of another.

Beloved, let us love one another, with God’s love, according to His commandments. Amen.
