John 16:31 Do You Now Believe?

John 16:31 (KJV) Jesus answered them, Do ye now believe?

The disciples of Christ are precious and beloved of the Lord. They loved the Lord and therefore are beloved of the Father in heaven.

Our Lord said this of them in John 16:27-30 (KJV) For the Father himself loveth you, because ye have loved me, and have believed that I came out from God. I came forth from the Father, and am come into the world: again, I leave the world, and go to the Father.

This was the disciples’ response – John 16:29-30 (KJV) His disciples said unto him, Lo, now speakest thou plainly, and speakest no proverb. Now are we sure that thou knowest all things, and needest not that any man should ask thee: by this we believe that thou camest forth from God.

Christ’s testimony was irrefutable in the sight of His disciples for they witnessed that Jesus is God, sent from the Father in heaven. Amen.
