Psalm 62:5 Wait Thou Only Upon God

Psalm 62:5 (KJV) My soul, wait thou only upon God; for my expectation is from him.

Here is the psalmist speaking to himself that his desire is to do the will of God. Therefore he was willing to wait for God to reveal clearly His holy will that he may walk therein.

The psalmist has no ambition but the Lord’s ambition for him. He realizes that the Lord knows what is best for him and so he is willing to follow as the Lord leads him.

The Lord reveals Himself through His written Word through the Scriptures. May His people take time to meditate upon the Scriptures with much prayer. Amen.
