Hebrews 9:12 Obtained Eternal Redemption for Us

Hebrews 9:12 (KJV) Neither by the blood of goats and calves, but by his own blood he entered in once into the holy place, having obtained eternal redemption for us.

The Levitical system of sacrifice with the sacrifice and the shedding of the blood of goats and calves cannot take away sins but points the people of God to our Lord Jesus Christ will come in the fullness of time to be the sacrifice for our sins.

He did so by His crucifixion, with His blood shed, to wash away our sins. When Jesus died on the cross, His sacrifice was a once for all sacrifice, so that through Him, eternal redemption is obtained for us.

We are saved to have eternal life because Jesus paid the penalty of our sins. He entered into the holy place to make good our salvation. All who trust in Jesus therefore have eternal life. Amen.
