Psalm 5:3 Morning Prayer

Psalm 5:3 (KJV) My voice shalt thou hear in the morning, O LORD; in the morning will I direct my prayer unto thee, and will look up. 

The psalmist speaks of his morning prayer. He sought the LORD in the early hours of the day. Looking up to the LORD he directed his prayers.

Before the day begins, and the day’s work begins, the psalmist sought the LORD’s blessing in each new day. It was a spiritual discipline that brought spiritual blessings.

He directs his prayer to the LORD. He has brought himself before the LORD for unless the LORD directs his efforts will be in vain. Amen.
