2 Peter 1:3 According to His Divine Power

2 Peter 1:3 (KJV) According as his divine power hath given unto us all things that pertain unto life and godliness, through the knowledge of him that hath called us to glory and virtue: 

The Christian life is special. It is sustained and prospered by divine power. This the Apostle Peter described as life and godliness. Given eternal life by Christ, Christians live in godliness by the power of God.

The life of godliness is taught in the Word of God where we are given the knowledge of Christ. He is the personification of godliness. By studying the life of Christ, we find the strength to understand and live life to the fullest.

The outworking of spiritual life is godliness described as spiritual virtue and the manifestation of the glory of God in the Christian’s life. What blessing! What privilege! Let His people therefore live! Amen.
