Psalm 37:23-26 Upholdeth By the LORD

Psalm 37:23-26 (KJV) The steps of a good man are ordered by the LORD: and he delighteth in his way. 24 Though he fall, he shall not be utterly cast down: for the LORD upholdeth him with his hand. 25 I have been young, and now am old; yet have I not seen the righteous forsaken, nor his seed begging bread. 26 He is ever merciful, and lendeth; and his seed is blessed. 

The man of God is upheld by his LORD. He is guided and cared for all through life. There is no let-up in the LORD’s care for him whether he is well, even when he is not well.

The LORD does not forsake His own. He takes are of them all the time. The psalmist attests to the care of the LORD for His people and in particular for himself. His people are blessed by the hand of the LORD.

Therefore, the psalmist gives a word of confidence to the people of God to trust in Him at all times. Amen.
