Hebrews 11:27 He Endured As Seeing Him Who Is Invisible

Hebrews 11:27 (KJV) By faith he forsook Egypt, not fearing the wrath of the king: for he endured, as seeing him who is invisible.

Moses was a prince in Egypt, possibly designated the next Pharaoh, the son of the Pharaoh’s daughter. Brought up in the finest of Egyptian training, a foremost statesman. But by faith Moses forsook Egypt. He saw a greater mission though not clear at first, he knew the Lord was leading him.

In hindsight, Moses’ mission was to lead the people of Israel out of Egypt en route to the Promised Land. He understood the Lord’s leading and therefore when persecuted by Pharaoh, he trusted the Lord and His leading.

This was the life of faith that Moses lived for our understanding that God’s people may understand the way of faith and endure. Amen.
