Matthew 6:34 Sufficient Unto the Day Is the Evil Thereof

Matthew 6:34 (KJV)  Take therefore no thought for the morrow: for the morrow shall take thought for the things of itself. Sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof.

There is enough that is to be done today than to be encumbered with worrying about tomorrow. The believer knows that the Lord holds his tomorrow.

He can entrust his tomorrow to the care of the Lord whilst he gives glory to Him today. How does he do that? By seeking first the kingdom of God and His righteousness (Matthew 6:33).

There is therefore fullness of purpose to live well for today for tomorrow may be the day when the Lord will reward His servants. Amen.
