Isaiah 40:31 They That Wait Upon the LORD Shall Renew Their Strength

Isaiah 40:31 (KJV) But they that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint. 

With the LORD is strength for life. The running and the walking require energy. Proper energizing for life comes from the LORD. That walking and running will be profitable.

God’s people are exhorted to wait on the LORD. Not to run before Him but to wait upon Him. For they that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength.

The majestic flight of the eagle is illustrative of the renewed strength that His people receive from Him. Let us therefore follow Him. Amen.
