Nehemiah 9:19 The Manifold Mercies of the LORD

Nehemiah 9:19 (KJV) Yet thou in thy manifold mercies forsookest them not in the wilderness: the pillar of the cloud departed not from them by day, to lead them in the way; neither the pillar of fire by night, to shew them light, and the way wherein they should go. 

It is to be rehearsed to the people of God His manifold mercies. Israel is a living example of the manifold mercies of God as we review her history, past, present and future.

God first delivered them from the bondage of slavery by freeing them from the tyrannical rule of Pharaoh, a picture of our redemption in Christ.

And in the wilderness, an impossible to live, the LORD showed Himself faithful by His protective hand upon His people by day and by night. God’s people are never lost with the LORD guiding the way! Amen.
