Proverbs 8:17-19 Better Is the LORD

Proverbs 8:17-19 (KJV) I love them that love me; and those that seek me early shall find me. 18 Riches and honour are with me; yea, durable riches and righteousness. 19 My fruit is better than gold, yea, than fine gold; and my revenue than choice silver. 

The people of God are exhorted to seek Him and to do so right early. There are durable riches and righteousness that the LORD bestows to His dear ones.

The LORD speaks of His fruit that is better than the temporal riches of this world. Better than the fine gold and the choice silver.

While the world runs after these perishable and corruptible entities, let His people seek the LORD for the LORD loves them that loves Him. Let His people therefore not love the world but the word of the LORD. Amen.
