Psalm 48:1-3 God Is Known In Her Palaces for a Refuge

Psalm 48:1-3 (KJV)  A Song and Psalm for the sons of Korah. Great is the LORD, and greatly to be praised in the city of our God, in the mountain of his holiness. 2 Beautiful for situation, the joy of the whole earth, is mount Zion, on the sides of the north, the city of the great King. 3 God is known in her palaces for a refuge. 

The psalmist extols the Name of the LORD that He is great and greatly to be praised. He is enthroned in the city of our God, in the mountain of His holiness. His presence is characterized by holiness.

There is true beauty, the joy of the whole earth, the place of His abode, even Mount Zion. It is situated on the sides of the north, there is the city of the great King.

Let His people come to His palace and find in Him our safe refuge. Amen.
