Ephesians 2:14-16 Christ Is Our Peace

Ephesians 2:14-16 (KJV) For he is our peace, who hath made both one, and hath broken down the middle wall of partition between us; 15 Having abolished in his flesh the enmity, even the law of commandments contained in ordinances; for to make in himself of twain one new man, so making peace; 16 And that he might reconcile both unto God in one body by the cross, having slain the enmity thereby: 

But now in Christ Jesus ye who sometimes were far off are made nigh by the blood of Christ. He is our peace for He abolished and broke down the partition wall separating sinful man from our holy God.

By the sacrifice of Christ, we have peace with God. Most precious and this Christ did by obeying the law of the commandments on our behalf.

Therefore, reconciliation has been made on the cross where He shed His blood and died to pay the penalty for man’s sin. All who trust in Christ, turning from their sins find forgiveness and thus peace in the soul. Amen.
