Ephesians 2:10 Created In Christ Jesus Unto Good Works

Ephesians 2:10 (KJV) For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them. 

The believer is the workmanship of Christ – John 1:3-4 (KJV) All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made. 4 In him was life; and the life was the light of men…  John 1:10-13 (KJV) He was in the world, and the world was made by him, and the world knew him not. 11 He came unto his own, and his own received him not. 12 But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name: 13 Which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God. 

The believer is created unto good works. It means having the capability and capacity to impact other lives for the world for eternity through sacrificial service – John 3:21 (KJV)  But he that doeth truth cometh to the light, that his deeds may be made manifest, that they are wrought in God.

And this outcome, God hath before foreordained, that we should walk in them. In other words, the believer is not haphazardly brought forth but conceived and bring to pass before the foundation of the world. What mind-boggling truth! What a wonderful Saviour! What privilege! Amen.
