(1) Concluding “The 7am Service” for 2024

Thank God for His grace in gathering His people for the final week of “The 7am Service” in the year of grace 2024 from 25 – 30 November. Pastor Lek shared from John 18-21 and Psalm 90. This early morning service has an average of 25 persons attending the “live” stream. 

A total of 6 Books covered from July – November 2024. The Book of Genesis, Exodus, Leviticus, Numbers & Deuteronomy by Mr Lucas Lek and the Gospel of John by Pastor Lek.

On 30 November 2024, we concluded The 7am Services in 2024 with a message from Pastor Lek entitled “Teach Us to Number Our Days” from Psalm 90. These services and messages are recorded and available on Sermon Audio and YouTube. Do avail yourself to them if you have missed any of the messages.

May the Lord bless our worship and the preaching of His Word to the strengthening of the faith of His people and the conversion of souls for His glory.

(2) The Westminster Annotations

The Westminster Annotations is a compilation of annotations on the Bible by some of the theologians of the Westminster Assembly in 1645. They believed this would be a useful guide for the common people when they met with difficult passages in the Bible. The Westminster Annotations have not been re-published.

This monumental work is now re-published by Blessed Hope Bible-Presbyterian Church – ISBN 978-981-94-1683-7. 

The Westminster Annotations, edited for easy reading to modern English, will complement the reading of the Holy Scriptures by providing relevant Bible cross-references and explanations.  

This first volume of the Westminster Annotations will be from the Book of Genesis to the Book of Esther of the Old Testament Scriptures. It is the first of three volumes for publication. The second volume from the Book of Job to the Book of Malachi will complete the annotations on the Old Testament Scriptures. The third volume shall be on the annotations of the New Testament Scriptures. 

It will be in “Journal-size”, the same size as “The King James Bible without chapters and verses” published by Blessed Hope Bible-Presbyterian Church – ISBN 978-981-18-88526 in 2023. The larger font size chosen for the Westminster Annotations will be more reader-friendly.

God willing, the Westminster Annotations Volume 1 (Genesis – Esther) will be printed and be ready for distribution during “The Old Paths Conference” from 12-14 December 2024.

Pray that this publication will contribute to the strengthening and edification of the church of Jesus Christ in understanding the Scriptures in these last days. Amen.
