Hebrews 10:35-36 Cast Not Away Therefore Your Confidence

Hebrews 10:35-36 (KJV) Cast not away therefore your confidence, which hath great recompence of reward. 36 For ye have need of patience, that, after ye have done the will of God, ye might receive the promise. 

The church was facing tremendous persecution for their faith in Christ. Especially impacted were the Jewish believers.

The Apostle Paul encouraged them to persevere to fight the good fight of faith. Patiently trusting the Lord Jesus to work out all things well.

What was most comforting was that the Lord valued the steadfastness of their faith which He promised would have great recompense of reward. It is not in vain following the Lord. Press on! Amen.
