Genesis 18:19 He Will Command His Children and His Household After Him

Genesis 18:19 (KJV) For I know him, that he will command his children and his household after him, and they shall keep the way of the LORD, to do justice and judgment; that the LORD may bring upon Abraham that which he hath spoken of him. 

The LORD spoke thus of Abraham that he will command his children and household after him. What did Abraham command his children and household to do? To keep the way of the LORD.

And what is the way of the LORD? It is to do justice and judgment. The Ten Commandments, a summary of God’s Law, provide the yardstick for measure.

Abraham obeyed the LORD and followed Him and instructed his children and household to do so too. A worthy example fpor our emulation. Amen.
