Romans 10:15 Glad Tidings of Good Things

Romans 10:15 (KJV) And how shall they preach, except they be sent? as it is written, How beautiful are the feet of them that preach the gospel of peace, and bring glad tidings of good things! 

The Apostle Paul was sent by Christ to preach the gospel. He calls it the gospel of peace because it reconciles sinful men at enmity with their Creator and Sustainer God.

Therefore, it is a message that brings glad tidings of good things. Of eternal life and eternal joy and eternal peace. Someone has to carry the message. Isaiah the prophet 700 years earlier wrote, How beautiful are the feet of them that preach the gospel of peace and bring glad tidings of good tidings!

God still calls and still sends His messengers to proclaim the gospel of peace and bring glad tidings of good tidings in this season of the year when we remember Christ’s birth. May souls be gloriously saved as His Word goes forth. Amen.
