Psalm 119:15-16 Have Respect Unto Thy Ways

Psalm 119:15-16 (KJV) I will meditate in thy precepts, and have respect unto thy ways. 16 I will delight myself in thy statutes: I will not forget thy word. 

The psalmist has great reverence for God’s Word. He confessed and testified that he would meditate upon it. He would take time to consider, ponder and seek to understand through much prayer and thought.

He confessed that he would delight in the statutes of God’s Word – the decrees made by God. There was a hearty affection in obeying God’s revealed will.

He will also not forget God’s Word. Because he has taken time to meditate and delight, in this way, he will not forget. Amen.
