Matthew 19:26 With God All Things Are Possible

Matthew 19:26 (KJV) But Jesus beheld them, and said unto them, With men this is impossible; but with God all things are possible.

The rich young ruler left the company of the Lord when asked to sell all he had and follow Jesus. His riches were his “all”. He could not bear to forsake them for Christ.

Christ is the Giver of all that we have. If He withholds, we will starve. He is merciful to care for us.

Putting Christ first is not too much even though some may be endowed with great riches. God can grant them to understand that He is the Sustainer of their livelihood and come to acknowledge as their Lord and Saviour. Amen.
