Psalm 91:1 The Secret Place of the Most High

Psalm 91:1 (KJV) He that dwelleth in the secret place of the most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty. 

There is a place of safety with the LORD. It is named “the secret place of the Most High”. A refuge that the Most High God offers to His people who abide with Him, who are His.

It is secret because the workings of the Almighty God are not always clearly visible or His ways often past finding out. And yet it is truly a place of safety and refuge.

As the cleft of the rock cast a shadow of shelter from the scorching sun, so did the protective care of the Almighty God upon His people. A most reassuring truth that comforts and consoles to remove any doubts of God’s care under any circumstances God’s people may encounter. Amen.
