Psalm 91:9-10 Because Thou Hast Made The LORD Thy Habitation

Psalm 91:9-10 (KJV) Because thou hast made the LORD, which is my refuge, even the most High, thy habitation; 10 There shall no evil befall thee, neither shall any plague come nigh thy dwelling. 

In the LORD, there is safety and true security. He protects His people against the attack of the evil of one – 1 John 4:4 (KJV) Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world. 

Akin to God’s protection for the Israelites in Egypt when the death plague came upon Egypt, the blood of the slain lamb upon the doorposts of the Israelites dwelling protected them, so here the psalmist speaks of the LORD’S protection from unseen pestilences.

Here is a general promise given for God’s people who sought the LORD in their daily lives for His protection for their well-being is given assurance of His protective care. Amen.
