Hebrews 8:1-2 An High Priest Set On The Right Hand of the Throne of Majesty In the Heavens

Hebrews 8:1-2 (KJV) Now of the things which we have spoken this is the sum: We have such an high priest, who is set on the right hand of the throne of the Majesty in the heavens; 2 A minister of the sanctuary, and of the true tabernacle, which the Lord pitched, and not man. 

The High Priestly ministry of our Lord Jesus Christ since His ascension to heaven after completing the work of redemption is at the right hand of the throne of the Father in the heavens. The Lord undertakes a perpetual work for His saints on their behalf so that their prayers will be brought to the Father in heaven.

The earthly Tabernacle and Israel’s high priest help us to understand our Lord’s intercessory role on the people’s behalf in heaven. This understanding will comfort and consolation God’s people in distress and pleading for help.

Though no man may see, our prayers are ascended on high to the throne room of the universe, so that help can be duly dispensed. All praise to the Lord. Amen.
